Oh Amberissa! She's Adorable, she's stylish, and she's truly a fashionista! I had an awesome time getting to interview Amberissa about her new blog, her style and her addiction to cherries!
Tell me bit about yourself.:)
I'm Amberissa Beau a 24/7 Fashionista. I live in the heart of Manhattan, New York in an apartment with my darling goldfish Rupert. I'm a fashion designer and blogger, I like to blog about the wonderful treasures I keep in all of my wardrobes! I feel like they're in need of a little more attention. I love fashion, I love art, music and a lot of shopping! I have an addiction for cherries, and I can't avoid mirrors. They both are important elements in my life! And I love, love LOVE to inspire people! : )
Where do you get the inspiration for your designs? and how long have you had your cherry addiction?:)
Mmmh that's a difficult question, I get my inspiration from everywhere! Not only do I have a storage full of art books and fashion magazines where I get inspiration from. I also like to get inspiration from people. Their hobby's, lifestyle and stories they're very interesting. It also makes you realize how big and undiscovered the world is!
I can't quit remember when or how my addiction for cherry started. I do remember that at a certain point I only requested my birthday cakes with only cherries on top of it. I must say I'm a little bit embarrassed about my problematic cherry addiction, but it's also a healthy addiction. Did you know that cherries are one of the most versatile foods that prevent cancer? Cherries not only have cancer-fighting properties, but they are also useful for tackling arthritis and lowering cholesterol. So in a way I'm also proud of it!
Now that's an addiction that isn't a problem! So why did you decide to create a blog?
I created a blog to share my love for fashion with fellow fashionista's and the world! I have so many clothes in all of my wardrobes, mostly Haute Couture, oh how I love Haute Couture! They are all locked away from the world, and I want to blow life into them again! I always have the opportunity to wear something different every day. I even wear up to three different outfits in one day!
Wow, I'm sure anyone would kill for a closet like that, and three in one day? How do you manage this?
It's really easy actually I divide my days into three parts. The morning, afternoon and evening! I can be a control freak sometimes so it probably must be a typical designer behavior. As a designer I schedule my days into hard work, client time and light work. It feels good to wear something different for each occasion! I feel fully energized, a new person and I'm ready to get an experience richer at work!
When you put it that way, it sounds really easy! So you said you live in Manhattan, what is the style like around there? and does it help to inspire your designs?
More than anything else people in Manhattan know what they want! Most people from Manhattan wouldn't be caught dead wearing an "I <3 NY" T-shirt, or any item of clothing purchased on vacation, such as clothes from Disneyland. People in Manhattan wear A LOT of black! You'll also see a lot of dark blue or some shades of grey. When the weather is warmer, white and beige is pretty popular. I do have one small tip: pleasepay attention to your footwear! Particularly in Manhattan, you won't see people wearing sneakers, which are too casual or flip-flops because they bring your feet too close to the dirty sidewalk. Loafers, heels, boots, and heeled sandals are acceptable.
It's also a typical thing for Manhattan fashionista's to constantly try to be the first to jump on the next bandwagon, the first to see it coming down the road. And I think we all know that New York is one of the biggest fashion capitals in the world! So I see so many incredible styles here in Manhattan, I can't never get enough inspired!
Wow, so basically just looking around when your walking down the street lets you know the latest trends? what are some of the latest trends that you've been seeing lately?
It's not really difficult to spot the latest trends in Manhattan. You can almost feel it as you walk along the streets! One of the latest trends I'vebeen seeing is fur! Color blocking, sophisticated animal spots, and solid hues. Real fur or not, it makes a soft addition to the thoughtful winter wardrobe. And I still see many fashionista's rocking holiday sweaters, so that must still be in the trend too!
Speaking of holiday's how did you spend yours?
I spent my holiday's in the lovely Amsterdam in Holland with my family and close friends. We had a nice time over there, dutch meals, art museum visits and of course shopping! And I must say the fashion in Amsterdam is quit exquisite! I've seen alot of people rocking the Martin Margiela Collection for H&M on the streets. I must admit that my stay in Amsterdam has made me love the collection even more!
Sounds so lovely! Do you have any pieces from the collection? and if so which ones, and how do you work them into your wardrobe?
Sounds marvelous! I hope you fulfill each resolution to your liking, and one last question... Can I have your autograph in advance so that I can proudly say that I knew you before you were world famous? ;)
Oh your kind words makes me flutter! I can't picture myself being famous world wide yet I think, it's a lovely thought. But if I see people that believe in me, I certainly want to make them proud and inspire them! : ) Thank you so much the interview Beka! I enjoyed it! Here's a littlesomething for you! ; )

I certainly do have pieces of the collection, I really love the concept of it! I believe I almost bought the entire ladies collection! My personal favorite has to be the cozy duvet coat and the adorable candy clutch!.
I have pretty big wardrobes. So I have my clothes and accessories categorized under the name of the designer and from what collection it came from! I think it's important to know what you're wearing in respect for the the designer. Because it's not just fashion you've wearing but also a piece of art! And I'm pretty forgettable, so I only wear several pieces of a single designer on a day so I don't get confused by I'm wearing.
Oh those Candy clutches are just fabulous! That item is definitely on my want list! So I have 2 more questions for you! What are your new years resolutions? fashion wise, personal , career wise?
I want to get to know more people! Discover more amazing cultures with may friends and eat less cherries. I want to show the world my collection of designer clothes and my fashion designs, I want to infect people with fashion! I also want to go on a trip to Japan, I've heard and seen a lot of the famous harajuku fashion! It's about time to go there myself and explore! And last of all is to inspire people and spend more quality time with family members! It's the most important resolution for me this year!
Sounds marvelous! I hope you fulfill each resolution to your liking, and one last question... Can I have your autograph in advance so that I can proudly say that I knew you before you were world famous? ;)

Injection continues to be the predominant method of heroin use among addicted users seeking treatment; however, researchers have observed a shift in heroin use patterns, from injection to sniffing and smoking. In fact, sniffing/snorting heroin is now a widely reported means of taking heroin among users admitted for drug treatment in Newark, Chicago, New York, and Detroit. generic cialis cialis, cialis cialis price, generic viagra cialis price, buy viagra cialis
