WHERE IS MY MIND?

Hi there guys, I know it's been about a week since my last post. I've been really busy lately, more then I like to be. It's the time of testing, finals, ACT's, and SBA's. I'm kind of out of my mind! I also won't be able to do an outfit for awhile because the weather is horrendous and there hasn't been any decent lighting. Spring winds are making it rough to barely walk outside for five minutes, let alone pose for a photoshoot which takes probably around a good thirty minutes to get at least three decent pictures. So there is a bit of a hold up on a pony look.:( But hopefully the sun is on it's way back from it's vacation behind the clouds.

So I decided why not do a cliche kind of post about my fashion week faves? I'm not one of those bloggers who likes to jump on the major fashion event bandwagon. But it's okay to do it once and a while...

So here are my faves.
ACADEMY OF ART UNIVERSITY (AKA MY FUTURE)

If you have read my about page, then you know that I am looking to go to Academy of Art University in San Francisco California. Here is basically the main reason why... They are the ONLY college in the world, to show their senior fashion students work, at Fashion Week. And yes, I'm talking about the Mercedes Benz. These are my favorites from the talented student's work.

ANNA SUI

Anna Sui never ceases to make a stupid grin spread across my cheeks. Her designs are always so fun and flirtatious with a hint of nostalgia. It's really what makes her brand so distinct. The models don't look like they want to rip your face off and actually look like people who have feelings! On top of that the clothes make you want to dance around a bit and buy the whole entire collection.  She knows her craft, and how to make it look wearable but expensive.

BADGLEY MISCHKA

I literally have no words except for, perfect.

CALVIN KLEIN

"who says thats a dress?" "Calvin Klein" yes, I just quoted Cher from Clueless. (aka my guilty pleasure) anyway,  I have a feeling Calvin Klein is going to be with us for years, and years. It's minimalist style if ageless and forever a staple in every woman's closet.

CLOVER CANYON

I don't know what's worse, the fact that I've barely heard of Clover Canyon or the fact that I've never heard of Clover Canyon. Either way, better late then never! So yes, I barely heard of Clover Canyon. *gasp* Yeah. But now that I DO know of them, I will now seek them out during FW.

Badgley Mischka and Calvin Klein. Love those two collections. The black collared dress (near the end) from the Mischka collection is just wow. The collar actually goes with the dress. I am taken by that fact. haha

I have and always will love Calvin Klein. He doesn't design for an age or a demographic but for a timeless and classy woman. And Badgley Mischka was so elegant and dramatic. Some of my favorite gowns of the season.
